Charity Policy

We receive a lot of requests for many worthwhile causes and we wish we could help every single one of them however, the Pensthorpe Estate is home to the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust, which is a registered charity, and we make every effort to focus on raising funds for the Trust so that it can continue to do the important work to “Actively Save Species”. That is why 15% of ALL Pensthorpe Natural Park admissions and membership revenue goes directly to the Trust. Because we want to concentrate on this, we have decided to support only one other major charity and a few causes in our local neighbourhood (at our discretion).

Our chosen charity, Break, is a registered charity that provides a diverse range of specialist residential and community based services for vulnerable children. Break is changing young lives across East Anglia by supporting children, young people and families in four key areas: young people in care and moving on; children and young people with disabilities; families in need of support and children at risk.

For the next two years we are the main sponsors for the GoGo Create project, which is part of Break’s GoGo Hares campaign that will be coming to Norfolk in 2018. GoGo Create is a project for youth groups, schools, scouting, guiding, community, sports groups, and many more.

If you are not based in the NR21 postcode area (our local neighbourhood), or a school in the local school clusters listed below then unfortunately we are unable to support you. Please consider this when contacting us as we’d ideally like to put our time and effort into helping raise funds for the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust and our chosen charity.

If you do not receive a response from us within two weeks then, unfortunately, your request has been unsuccessful.

Local school clusters we are able to support:
