George Archibald’s visionary and active leadership in international conservation efforts over the past 40 years has given flight to crane projects worldwide. We are delighted to have George join us for an evening where he will share his love for cranes and talk about the current status of all 15 species of cranes in the world, from the red-crowned crane in eastern Asia to the Eurasian crane which Pensthorpe has worked closely with as part of the Great Crane Project.

George is the co-founder of the International Crane Foundation and a valued trustee of Pensthorpe Conservation Trust.

This talk will take place on Thursday 29th November 7:30pm-9:30pm in our Garden Room.
