Learn the different techniques used in watercolour taught by the well known local artist  Steve Cale

This 7 day course can also be booked as individual lessons.

You will need to bring your own watercolours, watercolour paper & sketching materials

Each session you will learn to make quilt block/s inspired by the wildlife at Pensthorpe.

A guided walk through our Gardens, Wildflower Meadow and Wader Scrape.  Identify the seasons Flora, Fauna and visiting Waterfowl.

Suitable outdoor footwear and clothing essential.  Binoculars recomended.

Learn the calls and songs of a variety of birds in their different habitats; find out why they sing and what it means.

Spens a day with Piers and Mike from Wildeye- the International School of Wildlife Film-making and learn how to get the best out of yoru camcorder when filming birds and other wildlife.  The reserve is the perfect location for this with many subjects close at hand and set in beautiful surroundings.

Ray Creek - Creek orchids, Jeff Hutchins -  Laneside Hardy Orchid Nursery and Andrew Bannister - Orchid Alchemy will be selling orchids and putting on dispalys.  Ray and Jeff will be puttting on talks over the weekend.
