Explore the wild side of nature here at Pensthorpe Natural Park, a stunning 700-acre nature reserve located within the Wensum Valley, just 11 miles inland from the north Norfolk coast.

Abundant with wildlife and thriving with year-round natural interest, our park is renowned for its blend of unspoilt habitats. From ancient woodland and wetland walks to glorious gardens and impressive indoor and outdoor eco play areas, we let nature do the talking, aiming to inspire visitors about the beauty of the natural world and encourage them to pay a little more attention to the great outdoors once they return home.

Interactive trails, seven bird hides and a number of charming boardwalks weave through the wilderness of the reserve, whilst hands-on activities such as wildlife spotting, pond dipping and bird feeding present an opportunity to get closer to the native and visiting wildlife – over 500 different species have been recorded!

A former host of BBC Springwatch, Pensthorpe Natural Park is owned by husband and wife team Bill and Deb Jordan, Bill being a founder of Jordans Cereals. Their collective passion for promoting the power of nature and its ability to generate wellbeing makes it a tranquil spot for those looking to recharge batteries or simply disconnect from the pressures of everyday life.
