Bug Walk

Let your children become ‘bug detectives‘ on our Bug Walk which will fascinate children of all ages who love bugs, creepy crawlies and insects. Hidden in the heart of the reserve it boasts larger than life bugs in the form of sculptures from spiders to crickets and ants. There are many interactive activities which are supported by our Bug Walk quiz in the ‘Wild On Wildlife‘ Booklet which you will receive on your arrival. Whether  searching beneath the log piles for woodlouse and insects, checking plant life for ladybitds to identifying  creatures running around the ground, you will be surrounded in wildlife which is ready for you to discover. Open all year round, you will see different creatures every season so have fun and get detecting!
