At weekends and over the school holidays join one of our Wardens for our 12 o'clock 'walk talk' as a perfect 'Introduction to Pensthorpe'. These popular introductory sessions give helpful advice to visitors on how to make the most of their visit: what not to miss, whether your interests lie with the wild birds that visit the site, newly hatched chicks, information on the Red Squirrels or more simply what is currently looking its very best in our gardens.
And as the Winter months draw closer, from 31st October visitors are invited to join us for our popular daily 'flood lit feed'. For a unique birdwatching experience, sit snug in the warmth and comfort of our Viewing Gallery whilst our Wardens feed the birds out on Mill Pond and talk you through which birds have come in to feed, giving you their unique insights into the local wildlife.
Guided tours are available with group bookings; further details are available on application.
Pensthorpe is justly proud of our wardens and guides, and to have so much specialist information close at hand, so please be sure to take advantage of the expert knowledge of our staff during your visit.
