Pensthorpe's Courtyard Café serves fantastic locally sourced, home-cooked food, and all meals are cooked by our staff, freshly made to order on the premisse.

The Café makes a great lunch venue even when you don't have time to visit the Reserve. It's a super place to stop for a great variety of teas, coffees and delicious cakes and pastries any time you fancy a break. Morning coffee, afternoon tea, or a full lunch – you decide.

Relax and enjoy honey roast ham served with freshly prepared salad, baby potatoes and Norfolk chutney; whilst scrumptious and wholesome deep-filled oat flans, and daily specials, such as delicious steak and ale pie or beef lasagne, are just some of the wide variety of meals on offer. Sunday visitors can savour the delights of a traditional roast (October - March), whilst in warmer weather you can enjoy your meal out in the Courtyard.

The first stage of upgrading the Courtyard itself, with a new, enhanced seating area and fresh planting, has recently been completed. The new layout means that even more visitors can now enjoy their meal in a wonderful environment with better seating - on the level - and access for everyone.
