A naturally inspiring place to learn!
Pensthorpe is the ideal setting, for young and old alike, to immerse themselves in the natural world and be inspired by the wonderful wildlife it contains. Offering an unrivalled range of diverse habitats, the park provides the perfect environment in which to learn.
Our education packages will make good use of the park by combining short indoor activities, both in our Wildlife Education Centre and purpose built classroom-sized hide, with plenty of outdoor exploring. The ‘Discover’ activities have been produced using the national curriculum as a guideline whilst appreciating the need for practical, hands-on interactions to stimulate learning.
Each activity has its own activity sheet which is completed during the visit and retained by the pupils for future reference.
