Join us on this voluntary taster day
Interested in learning about habitat management? If so, why not join us on this special event focusing on habitat management work alongside our Reserve Manager, Richard Spowage. Tasks for the day include working in our new wetland area, clearing encroaching willow out of reed areas, and many more. This will be a perfect opportunity to engage with nature, meet new people and learn new skills from our Reserve Manager.
*No previous skills are required
10am – Arrival in Courtyard
12.30pm to 1pm – Lunch
1pm – 4pm – Work in our new wetland area*
*Dependent upon water levels
Important information regarding this event:
- There is no cost to take part in this day however pre-booking your place is essential
- Please ensure you are wearing sensible footwear (wellies are advisable)
- Suitable clothing required
- Lunch will be included
- Parking is FREE
- Type of work will be dependent upon water levels on the day
