Learn how to make your very own linocut print in this one-day workshop with Norfolk Artist and Printmaker, Sue Welfare.

This informal and relaxed workshop will be filled with lots of advice, support and hands on guidance for you to make your very own linocut print! Learn a range of mark marking techniques and skills, to create light, shade, line and texture to explore your print ideas before creating a final piece.You’ll be working in black and white – although other colours will be available for you to print in if you prefer Tea, coffee and cake included- making it an excellent day out with friends!
All specialist materials and tools are provided although participants are asked to bring along some basic drawing equipment (pencil, eraser, ruler) and wear either old clothes or an old shirt or an apron to protect clothing. Printing is inevitably messy! Also if you have any inspirational images or ideas you would like to develop as prints bring them along too; Sue will provide some starting points for print ideas if you are in need of inspiration. The course is suitable for beginners and runs from 10 am-4pm with a break for lunch. You have the option to purchase lunch from the cafe on the day.

Creatures of the Night Tour
Venture out as darkness falls to discover the creatures of the night! The reserve has a very different atmosphere at night time and this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour will take you deep into the depths of the park to try and spot bats, owls and moths.
