Plan Your Day
Set in the heart of the Wensum Valley, in North Norfolk, multi-award winning Pensthorpe Natural Park is a modern day nature reserve with a focus on inspiring the next generation to enjoy wildlife and the great outdoors.
It is a true showcase for British wildlife, beautiful gardens and adventure play, no matter what the weather. Encounter flamingos, cranes and red Squirrels; four beautiful and unique gardens to get families exploring the further reaches of the reserve; and learn more about Pensthorpe Conservation Trust’s projects.
Families can have fun together in WildRootz, an outdoor adventure play area and Hootz House, the award winning indoor play area, complete with soft play for under 5s.
For the benefit of the wildlife and nesting birds resident at Pensthorpe, we do not permit dogs into the park and reserve. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in our shop and the outdoor dining area of our Courtyard café. We also kindly please ask that visitors do not leave dogs left unaccompanied in their cars – if you notice a dog unaccompanied in a car, please alert a member of staff.
